Is the LSI Academy Right for Me?

Who is eligible to apply?

Our Academy sets the standard of excellence in the financial services industry. This program is tailored to applicants who are passionate about investing in themselves. Previous financial services experience is not necessary to apply – we look for passion, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Is it just for those who have previous job experience?

Many of our graduates have experience in the financial services industry, and many have had little or no experience. For some, LSI may be their first employer. What matters most is your drive to learn, grow, and make a difference.

I don't have financial services experience – is this still for me?

Absolutely. Many of our graduates previously worked in retail, restaurants, call centers, or credit unions and community banks. What they all share is the desire to grow, increase their earning potential, and help others.

Do I need to have a college degree?

No degree is required. Applicants participate in a series of interviews to help us gain an understanding of their potential for success in the program.

Can you tell me more about the curriculum?

The LSI Academy is a 7-week program that blends classroom learning with hands-on experience. You’ll spend time learning the unique demands of working in the financial services industry and gaining knowledge from experts in customer service, lending, and debt management who bring real-world insights to every session.

Will I receive benefits?

Yes. All employees working 30 hours or more are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, access to our employee rewards program, and more.

What skills will I learn at LSI?

You’ll develop a wide variety of skills, from helping people with questions about their account, to assessing a person’s credit for a personal loan, to assisting with real estate mortgage transactions. You’ll also learn leadership skills like communication, goal setting, and conflict resolution through our Leadership Development program.

What career paths are available?

Graduates of the Academy move through a variety of roles across LSI. Top performers have opportunities to participate in advanced training and leadership programs that pave the way to additional skills, management roles, and beyond.

What else will I gain by working at LSI?

One of the biggest benefits of working at LSI is how applicable the work is to your personal financial success.
