VI. California and Other States Privacy Rights
California Residents: This section describes your rights under California privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), and the California “Shine the Light” law.
LSI acts solely as a service provider to financial institutions when processing personal information. We use personal information only for the limited business purposes set forth in our agreements with clients and do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
Your Rights Under the CCPA/CPRA: California residents may have the right to:
- Request disclosure of categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which such information is used;
- Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information processed by us on behalf of our clients; and
- Exercise other rights as provided under applicable California law.
Because Company acts as a service provider, consumer requests should generally be directed to the financial institution with which you have a direct relationship, as that institution is responsible for responding to CCPA/CPRA requests.
Your Rights Under Shine the Light: In addition to the rights as explained in this Privacy Policy, under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide Personal Information (as defined in the statute) to obtain products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us, once a calendar year, information about the personal information we shared, if any, with other businesses for marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of personal information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared such personal information for the immediate prior calendar year (requests made in the current year will receive information about the prior year). To obtain this information please contact us at the address listed below in the “Contact Information” section.
Other States: Residents of other states, including but not limited to Nevada, Maine, Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut, may have similar rights under applicable state privacy laws. These laws generally provide the right to know what personal information is collected, the purposes for which it is used, and, in some cases, the right to access, correct, or delete such information. As a service provider, LSI processes personal information on behalf of its clients and is not responsible for responding to individual consumer requests. Please contact your financial institution to exercise these rights.
